Reaching 64 this year, I am beginning my journey into an older age. I am letting go and embracing, reaching up and digging deeper, expecting less and wanting more, I am walking and gathering, questioning and answering, challenging and reassuring, complicating and simplifying all at the same time.
My studio is a tree house with all the windows facing out into the woods. These last two years I have been focusing my attention on light in the woods as the seasons come and go.
I graduated from MECA in 1986. I’ve raised 4 children and, taught for many years and for the past 15 years have been a full time painter. I live in a tiny cabin in Maine close to a lake with my husband and tiny dog.
