Lisa Cohen

Statement:

I am a mixed-media artist who uses photography, painting, encaustic and digital techniques to create my artwork. My art centers on my family’s history, and story of escaping Europe during the Holocaust. I am drawn to encaustic medium because through layering and transparency I can depict memories and fragments of experience.
