About a year ago, I changed my medium from encaustic to cold wax and oil which allows me more flexibility and spontaneity. It allows me to make adjustments more easily on values and color. I have the encaustic on my back burner and will use it in future printmaking and sculpture.
Susan Paladino comes from a printmaking background and is a long-time resident of Boston. She is married and has a daughter in New York which enables her to have the opportunity to keep up with contemporary art. She enjoys teaching the printmaking workshops at the Cambridge Adult Education and has taught at other venues. Currently, she is in the Art File at the Painting Center in NYC. Susan has been exploring cold wax and oil for the past year and is currently represented by Gallery Twist.
